På Kloss Hold: The Talk Show

Saturday 23 16:30 - 17:15

A few years ago, we decided to try to replace a few presentations at PKH with a talk show, because we thought that might make for more interesting entertainment for the audience. It was a success, with Are as the interviewer, and he has since repeated "På Kloss Hold: The Talk Show" at AFOL events in Portugal, Denmark, and the UK, and even done a similar thing at LEGO House in Billund. This year, we have two more interesting guests for you:

Fabian Berget Lindblad is a young AFOL who first turned up at PKH a few years ago as a 17-year-old, with a big collection of rare LEGO products, most of which were almost half a century older than himself. Despite his young age, he is a proper history buff, one of Norway's most knowledgeable experts on old LEGO sets and, in particular, bricks that were actually produced in Norway. We'll chat with Fabian about his love for the 2x4 brick, how he comes across his fascinating finds, the international collectors' scene and LEGO in general.

Dave Schefcik lives in Poughkeepsie, New York, and has been a member of the AFOL scene for years. He made his mark with his contributions as a news editor for international LEGO blog The Brothers Brick before helming BrickNerd, where he gathered a team of well-known writers and builders from around the world to relaunch the site last year. We'll talk about that, his involvement with the community, his love for the Winter Village sets... and why one of LEGO’s colorful set releases last year made him cry.

PS! The talk show is in English.
